What if,
just what if this wide selection of books were people whom we can choose to enter our lives? Just how many will you pick?

(Picture of a HongKong bookstore while I was there.)
You probably will be greedy and pick a few favourites. For me, if these books were human beings, I would just pick one. Just like picking a good book.. Firstly, you look at the cover, acceptable, presentable, interesting or not. Then you look at the back for the description of the story line, and then if it gets enough attention, you see the price. A few of us may even go to the extend looking at the font sizes and styles. If everything else fits, you get it! Choosing life partners goes along the line isnt it? The one who is pleasing to your eyes, interesting to you, gets along well with you shall be the one....In 20 mins time, one can get as many as 20 books..Unfortunately, for me, I can spend as long as 2 hours not getting any. Not that Im choosey, but the books I normally choose is either out of stock or torn here and there.
Now, this explains why Im still a book left on the shelves.

Pictures taken in Hongkong.

Crossed different problems, met different people,
just like,
Ive crossed different bridges, met various types of wheels..
In the end,
problems will be solved,
just like,
bridges will be crossed.
No matter how long, how many, how far...
Conclusion,
been there, done that.
Efforts been paid off, Ive got the scholarship of a 15k.
I believe its not that others are not good, so do not take my achievement as a personal insult. Sometimes, it can be luck, and mine is on the better side. Or maybe, they could see that I wanted it so much, so much more than others wanted. Either ways, its just the beginning. Either ways, Ive done my best and Ive done all my family proud.

So then, Ive finally decided to pay this cold place a visit. Thats something Ive to do without any obligations isnt it? Let the pictures roll and do the talking. Anyway, pictures all taken using fuji camera. Courtesy of weihun's sister.

First day.
As it was an afternoon flight, we spent the whole noon on the aircraft,
after which where we unpacked and settled down at heidi's place.
Had our meals at one of the street's hongkong "cafe".
Then, that was about it.

This is jetstar 3k695. Look how good the camera is.

So there omega was counting days hours mins secs to my birthday. The whole world is waiting. Cool.

Ranked top in the world. The roof you mean? Seriously, Singapore's facilities, services and space are better utilized. It makes me wonder..

Maybe its because of this? ;)

We took a cab down to heidi's place for our 5 nights. The cab fare was freaking expensive. Meter jumped faster than monkeys. 300 over hongkong dollars, when converted, it is around Sin$60 over. Merely a 25 mins ride..
Yes, bloody Scary.
Kwuntong. Hipway.
The living area.

Kitchen.
"My room".
View from within "my room".

Tune in for 2nd day onwards.

After event.

Being an assistant director for an event is definitely not easy. It was even harder working with 46 other people. An event where I saw true colours, laziness and where friendship can be so easily blown.. How about working with the director who practices laissez-faire style, where she will use every opportunity to transfer her incompetence to the entire team? 2 months or so, I have been going around covering asses..Fortunately, senses woke them up on the night of the event itself. It was then that they start to realise that teamwork counts. Well, Dr chua & trainers were impressed and we got 5 bonus marks on top of our f&b module result, and 2 additional off-days for outlet training. :) Also, rated as the BEST THEME PARTY IN SHATEC'S HISTORY.

It was a nightmare but then it was nightmare with a better ending.
