I had a profile at wholivesnearyou.com ages ago when I was still into mirc & icq. Eh, probably during the secondary school days. Active for a few weeks since and then no more till yesterday night. Was amazed to see so many fresh faces just around my neighborhood. And so I thought I probably should come to this webby more often to make friends. I admit that we do have nice people here at my neighborhood, but then everyone is always busy with their own...A second thought held me back..I still want that privacy. Dont like the idea where everyone around cck knows where exactly I'm residing at. So i stayed quiet. While browsing through profiles, "Knock knock" came in, it was the alert for new messages. And it came in continuously. Some said "hi, chat?" , some said " intro?" , some said " new neighbor?" and one said, " supper?" at 3.30am. Maybe he meant breakfast. Another guy sent a message saying " so all those are deadly smiles". Clearly referring to my pictures and hinting me that Im not as friendly as how my pictures speak to be. . .
If I were to make friends with all those 64 people who knock knock me in one night, I would probably know the whole Singapore in weeks time. And I honestly dont think being friendly with strangers is my cup of tea. So the bottomline is, if you somehow think that I'm not open, it means I have no intentions to know you any better. Isnt that obvious? SORRY. I think wholivesnearyou.com is useful to track down friends staying near you. Please, not in that sense whereby you are residing at cck and one changi guy "knock knock" you....
