A Nocturnal Reverie

it was a gd friday.
headed to town with samm.. and we were amazed by the quality service given at sony, wisma.
after which, i went to deliver dinner to jialun's workplace (far east) as he and his colleagues didnt have the time to step out of their shop. my initial thought was to do a last min shop around for new year clothings.. but when i saw the crowd there, i raised the white flag. too bad then, im not wearing any new clothings. :o) while waiting for jialun to knock off, i saw ben from kakaktua and we managed to catch up a lil.he is also working at far east, occassionally.i can see that he is still very humorous. i accompanied him to burger king to get some food for his friends.. and was shocked when he asked the staff at burger king, " excuse me ar, i want one cheese fries." i immediately broke into laughters. i pulled him back and said, ' ben!!! this is burger king. what u doing?!not kfc leh". of course, the staff didnt think its funny. hmm, this is a folly of speaking without thinking. not the first time for ben.. :)

after that, i saw BROWN! and his gf, nadia. i was very happy. didnt expect to see brown so soon as he was recruited into ns just some time ago.. also, started with nadia just 2 months ago. seeing nadia, i felt happy for brown. exchanged a few words with nadia and i can tell they are both feeling right about each other. ive never seen brown so cheerful before.. but friend, never forget me ok? you arent young anymore, may this lovey dovey relationship of yours last.

joined jialun and his uncle for late dinner at clark quay. HAVENT BEEN THERE FOR DAMN LONG. its a new clark quay with some of the clubs there.. i could just peep inside. havent got the time and courage to step in. no idea why. maybe its just not me.

home visit was meaningful. how i wish i could do this everyday..
after the visit, i spoke to roy about my struggle. He enlightened me... finally, i felt so much better.. thanks to him. last week was the worst week in shatec. the incident between mr norman and myself especially. but i have to make myself clear.. i was speaking up for myself, and not for anyone else. just dont understand why some of the classmates love complaining behind his back, complaining to me, but dont even dare to make a single sound in front of him. so, dont expect me to speak up for everyone. i can do it once, twice, thrice, but not anymore. during good times, u crowd around.. and the bad times, only thomas, eugene, terence, joyce, samm, and tri were there. our same old people. this is what friends are for. some of the rest, dont fit to be.

Every day brings us new challenge that requires new thinking. this is why we experience joy every day anew. some people, however, go through each day as if it were the same. closing their eyes to new opportunities before them, they live as automatons who fear change and lack self-confidence. and to mr norman, if u dont get the important essence of teaching, then give up. for the most important thing is, at the end of the day, your students learn. sad to say, as days turned into weeks,we arent learning from you. call us names if u want, for we no longer treat u as a lecturer worth to be respected. shits, i know he wont be able to read this..
