day 4: visit the world's famous museum - the egyptian museum. proceed to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world - the great pyramids of giza. about 350m form the pyramid stand the great sphinx (father of terror). in the evening, transfer to the railway station. board an overnight sleeper train to the land of pharaoh's, cairo.
about my 3rd day:
not many pictures taken as cameras were not allowed. sigh. so, nothing to show.
people started askin' my name. first, i said JOCELYN. none could pronounce. not even able to pronounce JAWS. thus, mum gave me a new name, "lala". so went ard tellin' people that lala is my name.
about my 4th day:
at the sphinx, met a young boy.. he asked for my name. so i said, "lala". he said he likes me and thus handed me a free bookmark. i hesitated as i rememberd tourguide warned us many times not to receive any gifts for free as NOTHING IS FREE. so as i was deep in my thoughts, whether to keep it or not, he said," take it, its really from me. no money." aww... so sweet.. he is really cute and nice.
at the toilet break, we met some egyptians.. and they started askin' my parents " how many camels u want? ".
next, saw a police chasin' after the kids.. was shock to see that the kids chased him back. worst, one of em took his wood plank ( maybe it is his baton? ) and broke into pieces. try doin' this in spore.. u will end up nowhere good.
at the pyramid sound and light show, venezuela president came. and the whole gang sat in front of us.. it was a big hoo-haa.. many carried guns..and dad was worried thus he pulled us to the back and sit. i asked him why. he said " so that if there is a bomb, or somebody tryin to kill one of em, we wont get involved!". what a thing to say.
and, giza is really really really really A WONDER. u wil die with regrets not havin' to see it! takin' pics there is not a wonder though..those egyptians there squeeze in and if u snap, u have to pay them.. wth logic is that.
at the bazaar, got another gift for free. =) lala is nice, thats why.
at the papyrus shop, i was proposed.. crazy.
