im proud of the soka association (my religion) for doing a great job during the ndp. just like every year. ;) thumbs up! gon' join next year if i falls in the category of ywd. (young women divisions).

im also proud that im a hakka. a pure one as both my parents are. seldom do i have frens who are hakkas. and ive been picking up the language quite well.. it would be a certain shame if i wasnt able to speak that few lines ya? but of our modern age now,its kinda hard to find youngsters with a medieval attitude towards dialects n traditions. but im gon try hard to keep that..

i must admit i do have a pride in my religion n dialect. true n rare to me.

next,im comforted to know that i have relatives from foreign countries. vietnamese n indonesian aunties. they are truly here for a proper marraige and family. not like what many think..pple shud stop stereotype that ALL the chinese,vietnamese n indonesians ladies are here for money and more money. hello,not all. probably that few. but anyway,we arent biological related,just that im fucking close with them already,i treat them just like my own too. will stand by all means for them.. proud that they are doing well with my uncles. epitomes of capable housewives n new century breadwinners. oh yes,having relatives from vietnam n indonesia doesnt mean i have the country blood. im A PURE SINGAPOREAN.

often im asked if im a malay,a thai,a phillipino,an indonesian,a vietnamese,a taiwanese,a japanese (because of my religion) or an ABC( AMERICAN BORN CHINESE). hell not,IM A PURE SINGAPOREAN. trying my best to be proud of being one. :)

once,theres this group of guys wanting to catch my attention on bus 190..they tried too hard to communicate with me. they spoke all types of languages, (til i dont know if those ever exists). they were just blindly guessing which race i belongs to...sorry,but i ignored. conclusion is,don try too hard. just speak english or mandarin. ;)

enough of these issues of pride n sense of belonging. good day ahead.
